KuKu Seller Policy

Welcome to KuKu. KuKu is a creator-commerce platform where fashion lovers shop directly from the closets of creators, influencers, stylists, and fashion personalities.

This Seller Policy explains the standards for selling on KuKu. By creating a seller account or listing an item, you agree to comply with this policy, our Terms & Conditions, and all other applicable KuKu policies.

1. Who Can Sell on KuKu?

KuKu is currently an invite-and-approval based creator marketplace.

At this stage, only individuals who qualify as creators, influencers, stylists, fashion personalities, public figures, or other approved sellers may sell on KuKu.

To become a seller, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a registered KuKu account.
  • Complete any verification requested by KuKu.
  • Receive approval from the KuKu team before your listings can be published.
  • Comply with all KuKu policies.

Creating a listing does not guarantee that it will appear on the platform.

KuKu reviews every seller profile before approving listings to ensure they align with our marketplace standards and brand vision.

As KuKu grows, seller eligibility may expand and new application programs may become available.

Image Standards

Great closets deserve great photos.

Since KuKu is built around discovering fashion through creators, presentation matters.

We encourage every seller to create listings that are clean, stylish, and inspiring.

Your photos should:

  • Be bright, sharp and high-resolution.
  • Use natural lighting whenever possible.
  • Show the front, back, labels and important details.
  • Clearly display any flaws.
  • Accurately represent colour and condition.
  • Have a clean, uncluttered background.

We strongly encourage lifestyle photos.

Whenever possible, photograph the item being worn rather than folded or hanging. Not worn images can be second or third image but first one needs to be a worn image.

Seeing how a piece fits, moves and is styled creates a much better shopping experience.

For Creator Closets, we highly encourage using original photos of the creator wearing the item whenever available. These photos help tell the story behind each piece and allow buyers to connect with the creator's personal style.

Flat lays and hanger photos are absolutely acceptable where modelling isn't possible, but styled photos generally perform much better.

Listings may be rejected if images are:

  • Blurry
  • Pixelated
  • Low resolution
  • Poorly lit
  • Excessively edited
  • Covered by heavy filters
  • Screenshots
  • Collages
  • Stock images without photos of the actual item
  • Cropped so the item cannot be clearly seen
  • Cluttered or distracting
  • Shabby, untidy, or not presented to KuKu's visual standards

KuKu reserves the right to reject, remove or request updated photos before approving a listing.

Repeated submission of poor-quality or misleading images may result in listing restrictions or suspension.

4. Creator Content & Marketing

By listing items on KuKu, you grant KuKu a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to feature your listings, profile, username, product photos, styling images, and publicly available content across:

  • The KuKu app

  • Social media
  • Paid advertising
  • Email campaigns
  • Press features

This allows KuKu to showcase your closet, promote available listings, and market the platform.

KuKu will never intentionally alter content in a way that misrepresents you or your products.
