  • Delivery and pickup addresses

c. Transaction & Financial Data

  • Order history and transaction records
  • Payout history
  • Seller bank account details required solely for payout purposes (such as account holder name, bank name, IBAN, and currency)
  • Refund, return, and dispute history

Important:

  • Seller bank details are stored securely and accessed only for processing payouts.
  • KuKu does not store full debit/credit card numbers or CVV details.
  • All customer payments are processed through licensed third-party payment gateways

d. Device & Usage Data

  • Device type and operating system
  • IP address and app/browser version
  • Log data, interactions, and usage analytics

e. Content Uploaded by Users

  • Item photos and descriptions
  • Reviews, ratings, and other platform submissions

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Enable buying, selling, and giveaways on the Platform
  • Process payments, refunds, and seller payouts
  • Coordinate logistics, pickups, and deliveries
  • Perform optional Quality Checks (QC)
  • Provide customer support and dispute resolution
  • Improve platform functionality and user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or misuse
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations

Personal data is processed based on user consent, contractual necessity, legal obligations, and legitimate business interests, in accordance with applicable UAE data-protection laws.

KuKu does not sell or rent your personal data.

  • Logistics and delivery partners (for pickups and deliveries)
  • Payment service providers
  • Cloud hosting and data storage providers
  • Analytics and marketing tools (only where consent is given)

All third parties are contractually required to safeguard your data and use it solely for authorized purposes.

Seller payout information is stored using encrypted systems with restricted internal access and is used strictly for settlement and compliance purposes.

9. Children’s Privacy (18+ Only)

KuKu is intended strictly for users aged 18 and above.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. Any account identified as belonging to a minor will be terminated and associated data deleted.

10. International Data Transfers

If you access KuKu from outside the UAE, your data may be transferred to and processed in the UAE or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards are implemented to protect such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of KuKu after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
